Pain Management Hypnotherapy with Rosamond Lloyd
Do you suffer with chronic pain?
The management of chronic pain can be helped greatly by hypnosis. Psychological approaches to pain relief are well documented and hypnosis has been widely used for centuries in this area.
Dr Milton Erickson, one of the world’s leading lights in the use of clinical hypnosis, used his skills to manage his own chronic pain from the two bouts of polio he suffered during his lifetime.
One of the problems with chronic pain management is that the brain habituates to pain-killing drugs, requiring higher and higher doses.
Hypnosis works in a different way, causing the brain to stop responding to pain signals.
The trick to using hypnosis for pain management is to learn the skills contained within this session so that you can then use them yourself whenever you need them.
Many people quickly grasp the techniques and gain relief from the start.
How can I help?
Hypnotherapy is a gentle but powerful approach to helping you manage you pain.
Hypnosis is a very pleasant experience of deep relaxation of both mind and body.
Whilst in this state, the subconscious mind can be very receptive to beneficial suggestions and accepting directions which can help you to ‘turn down’ your pain and promote a greater sense of well being.
I will teach you self-hypnosis to empower you to control and manage your pain when and where necessary.
I work in a private therapy setting in Kingswinford but also see clients from Stourbridge, Hagley, Dudley, Kinver, Wolverhampton and elsewhere in the West Midlands.
I provide a comfortable, calm and relaxed environment where you can be assured of a safe, caring and confidential experience. I will be focusing on your success and supporting you every step of the way.
“You’re braver than you believe and stronger than you seem”.
